The Cancer Society of Finland participates in the EU joint action on rare cancers 5.2.2016 5.2.2016 The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland has nominated the Cancer Society of Finland as an official participant on the EU joint action on rare cancers. The joint action will develop solutions to improve results of cancer care among rare cancers and reduce health inequalities in Europe. The results of the joint action can be used for example among the European reference networks. Joint actions are collaborations of research and development among the European Commission and the Member States which search for and develop solutions on agreed social and public health issues for the whole continent.
