Social advocacy Through social advocacy, the CSF aims to promote its goals at the level of policy decision-making. These goals cover the whole spectrum of activities and relate to all stages of the cancer patient's path. Read more: Social advocacy
Organisational activities The CSF is one of Finland's largest public health and patient organisations. It has 18 member associations, of which 12 are regional cancer associations and six are national patient organisations. Read more: Organisational activities
Advices services The CSF maintains a national advice service where health care professionals answer questions about cancer by phone, email or online chat. Read more: Advices services

International activities The Finnish Cancer Society was active in the Nordic Cancer Union (NCU), the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL) and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). Read more: International activities
Finnish Cancer Registry The Finnish Cancer Registry, the CSF's own research institute, focuses on statistical and epidemiological population-level research on cancer and the development of national cancer screening. Read more: Finnish Cancer Registry
Communications The goal of CSF communications is that the information and services provided by the organisation are readily available to CSF target groups. Read more: Communications
Finance and fundraising Operating revenues and expenses were largely unchanged from the previous year. Liquidity remained reasonable. Read more: Finance and fundraising

Human resources The number of staff employed by the association at the end of the year was 110, compared with 113 a year earlier, of whom 84 were permanent and 26 temporary. Read more: Human resources
